We completed a 3 day Real Estate Syndication and Crowdfunding Seminar with The Real Estate Guys, Robert Helms and Russell Gray. They are long time real estate educators via radio, podcast, TV show, and investor seminars who rise above the “guru” crowd via their transparent, education-oriented approach and the quality of speakers they bring with them.
We have participated in similar educational events before, but with all the recent changes in SEC regulations regarding crowdfunding and use of exemption regulations we felt it would be beneficial to get a strong update and refresher. The seminar went from 8am – 10pm every day, so it was long days filled with lots of useful and actionable information for ensuring everything is handled legally and properly for our investors.
Speakers included a well known SEC attorney, development project financier, multi-family lender who specializes in group investments, founders of a new online real estate crowdfunding platform, successful syndication presenters, and more. We even had a surprise visit and discussion with Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the world’s best selling business book “Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not
